Attila Keresztes

Attila Keresztes had first been trained as an experimental psychologist at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, and then received his PhD in psychology and cognitive neuroscience from the Department of Cognitive Science at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2014. He spent his postdoctoral years at the Centre for Lifespan Psychology of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development (MPIB) in Berlin, Germany. There he worked in the Cognitive and Neural Dynamics of Memory Across the Lifespan project led by Dr. Markus Werkle-Bergner, Dr. Yee Lee Shing, and Dr. Myriam Sander. After wrapping up his postdoc in 2018, Attila started his own lab in Budapest, the Hippocampal Circuit and Code for Cognition Lab, currently also a Max Planck Partner Group of the MPIB. His work aims to uncover brain-memory couplings across the lifespan using behavioural as well as structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging methods.
