Zoya Mooraj
Incoming Fellow, IMPRS COMP2PSYCH Berlin
Zoya Mooraj is interested in how brains (and the people they belong to) change, from moment-to-moment to across the lifespan. Her converging interests in philosophy, psychology and neuroscience, along with a strong belief in the necessity of interdisciplinary research, led her to a master’s in cognitive neuroscience at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain at Humboldt University. She is currently finishing up her master’s thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, looking at age differences in the neural and behavioural processes underlying metamemory. In the fall she will join the International Max Planck Research School COMP2PSYCH programme, working in the Lifespan Neural Dynamics Group in Berlin. In her free time, she enjoys reading, inline skating and thinking about the perception of time.
