Moritz Ketzer

Incoming Fellow, IMPRS COMP2PSYCH Berlin

August 15, 2022

Moritz Ketzer’s scientific interest started with clinical psychology, studying for his bachelor's and master's at the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin. His early interest in mathematics, statistics, and computation led him to work as a research assistant in the methods and evaluation department and to focus on modelling natural language data in psychotherapy transcripts with topic models.

Now, he is working as a research assistant at the Visual Perception Lab at the Charité Berlin, working on neurocomputational mechanisms in schizophrenia. Furthermore, he is completing his master's thesis about a model-based fMRI study of mentalization at the Valuation and Social Decision-Making Lab in Hamburg.

He will join the IMPRS COMP2PSYCH Programme in November 2022 in Berlin with a focus on longitudinal assessments.

His aim is to contribute to the translation of computational psychiatry into practice.
