Short CV

  • 2013-2017: Ph.D. Psychology, 2017, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, United Kingdom
Supervisor, Professor Trevor W. Robbins; Advisor, Professor Edward T. Bullmore
  • 2010-2012: M.Sc. Psychology Cognitive Neuroscience, 110/110 cum laude with special mention, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy
  • 2007-2010: B.Sc. Psychology 110/110, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy

Research Interests

Matilde uses behavioural experiments, computational modelling, and functional neuroimaging to investigate how individual differences in executive functions relate to mood. Her goal is to better understand the relationship between psychiatric symptoms and both cognitive traits and brain networks to allow early intervention and identification of markers predating the development of mental illnesses.
